Lightweight, radiolucent transfer boards designed to assist in the safe and efficient movement of patients between surfaces.
SallyBoard Patient Transfer Boards are manual handling aids designed to support the safe transfer of patients between surfaces, minimising staff effort and enhancing patient safety. Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), they offer a strong, flexible solution for moving unconscious or immobile patients without lifting.
Key features include:
- Lightweight HDPE construction
- Smooth surface and curved edges for easy patient transfer
- SWL of 300kg (when gap between surfaces is less than 20cm)
- Three handles on each side for easy manoeuvring
- Four underside grip strips to prevent slipping
- Good flexibility for uneven surface levels
- Radiolucent for use during x-rays
- Tested to Australian Standards AS/NZS ISO 10535:2011
